This is a Live Recording from the Closing party of the NOPARKING ‘…and then there were four’ exhibition in Nottingham 2010.

It features - George Harris on Spoken Word / tape recorders / sounds and Percussion

plus Lorin Halsall - Double Bass / Tape Loops / Electronics and Sounds.

Between the Machine & Ville is a story created through cut up texts and rearranged.

Originally used as part of an Art work created through Painting and Scratching into Board.

Film made by the NOPARKING Collective for the exhibition they curated for the FORMAT International Photography Festival in 2009. It was first shown at the Opening Party at the Royal, then continually at 22 Cornmarket Derby as part of a TV Installation that could be viewed through the window of the empty shop.

It was created through a Dadaist game that began with a phrase and then carried on with next artist with the location of final scene from previous artist’s film with a phrase and so forth. A film version of consequences… all done on one camera and passed on with no editing.
