Emma Reading is a Derby based graphic dabbler. Combining her Multimedia Technology degree, a veritable array of media and a splash of creative curiosity Emma creates as she lives, in a world of her own.

In particular Emma favours working with pencil and pen, and more specifically biro to sketch her ideas. With the help from amateurish photographs taken for guidelines, she transfers these templates onto her computer to reshape, layer and texture.

“I have a particular interest for buildings and industrial sites and shapes; iron works, mills, wreckages, street art, decay, odd situations, and ‘what if’ moments. I’m also attracted to creatures, robots, characters and roughness, all blended into what is occurring now.”
